This is the Freaking Sweetest thing! that I have ever been waiting for, its Freaking PERFECT.. I stopped using labels a few years ago because it is just too damn expensive. On January 4, 2004, HP announced an innovative new technology to address the problem of labeling CDs and DVDs.
LightScribe technology allows consumers to create silk-screen quality labels on their CDs or DVDs by burning text and graphics directly onto a disc, eliminating the need for adhesive labels. However, this seems to be an older Technology, But has yet to really catch on. I went looking around on the web to see How much this will cost, i.e. Hardware, Software and media. Suprisingly this setup isnt all that expenisive. Below is a price list of Hardware, Software and Media for the Lightscribe technology.
